Progressive Design-Build is a flexible contracting method for construction projects that allows the Owner and Design-Builder to maximize the benefits of Design-Build project delivery, by selecting the Design-Builder primarily based on qualifications, rather than price. The Owner and Design-Builder then work collaboratively toward the final design & final price, allowing the pricing to be deferred to when the design is well developed. These progressive design-build documents were prepared with the intent of providing fair, unbiased, practical, and balanced provisions for all parties.
